Márton Balogh has been working at the Civitas Foundation since 2000. Between 2000 and 2004, he held the position of program director of the Foundation and, since 2004, he has been the regional director of the office in Cluj-Napoca. In this capacity, he participated in developing and implementing over 150 projects in the fields of rural development, social economy, and public administration reform.

He was a member of the Monitoring Committee for the Administrative Capacity Development Sectoral Operational Program (POSDCA) and of the Monitoring Committee for the National Rural Development Program (2007 – 2013 and 2014 – 2020).

He is a lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Management, Babeș - Bolyai University, teaching courses in Management for Non-Governmental Organizations, Public Policies, and Project Management, both at the bachelor's and master's level. Author of several studies, research, and course materials in this field.
