Roxana Damaschin-Țecu Ethical and Social Committee

Roxana Damaschin-Țecu is co-founder of the social enterprise OilRight from Timișoara and the social service UnLoc. OilRight employs people with disabilities and collects used cooking oil, turning it into useful products such as scented candles and feedstock for bio-diesel. UnLoc, part of the Speranța Empowerment Foundation, offers support to adults with disabilities for living in the community.

 

Between 2008 and 2018, Roxana coordinated NESsT's activity in Central and Eastern Europe, being responsible for the investment strategy and performance management of the social enterprises in the organization's portfolio. Economist by profession, Roxana is an Eisenhower Fellow for Romania and holds a master's degree in European Perspectives on Social Inclusion from the University of West Timișoara.
