Claudia Petrescu is a researcher at the Quality of Life Research Institute of the Romanian Academy and research and development manager at the Center for Nonprofit Legislation. With over 20 years of experience in implementing research projects, Claudia has specialized in diverse fields such as child protection, social services, education, community development, social economy and quality of life.

În ultimii 15 ani, Claudia a devenit un expert național în economia socială, contribuind la studii de referință la nivel european. A participat la elaborarea studiilor „Social Enterprises and their Ecosystems in Europe” (2019-2020) și „Update of the Mapping of Social Enterprises and their Eco-Systems in Europe” (2023-2024). Claudia este activă în rețele de cercetare prestigioase precum EMES și CIRIEC, promovând dezvoltarea legislației și a politicilor favorabile economiei sociale.
